  1. In alignment with your fine print, I wanted to make sure you knew I posted a pic of this wreath with a link back to you as inspiration on my recent wreath making. Really I just came to tell you your wreath was so inspiring and to thank you for letting me share it on my blog, but mentioning the fine print made it sound much more official.

    1. The management sends their sincerest gratitude to you for this notification. You are commended for your adherence to all fine print policies and shall thus be awarded a gold star for your efforts.

But seriously (or rather less seriously), LOVED your wreath. I’m going to provide a link to it here in hopes that others will pop by to check out your rolled flower burlap wreath: http://www.ahumblecreation.com/2013/05/jumping-on-wreath-bandwagon-lets-get.html

  2. This lovely fabric inspired the wrapping paper in my dream last night. Your crafts are invading my subconscious… 🙂

    1. Becky! So happy to see you here, my friend. And I’m honored that this fabric (that used to belong to my grandmother) made a debut as wrapping paper in your dream…gives me a creative wrapping idea!

And random aside, you’ll be happy to know I subscribed to an email list that lets me know of estate sales in the area. I know you were an advocate of those sales and found some incredible things at estate sales…so hopefully I’ll get to one myself one these days soon. Miss you! Sending love.

  3. Just went to take a look at your tutorial at “Or So She Says” 🙂 The wreath is perfect for Spring, love the colour you choose! the little flowers make all the difference! Oh! how I can’t wait for spring to arrive!

    1. Thanks, Ingrid! I love how you spelled “colour.” 😉

I know you’ve had some brutal weather up north! Hopefully spring comes soon. Did the groundhog see his shadow this year? I didn’t keep up on that. Ha ha.

  4. I do enjoy the wreath! Also, I really, really enjoy the changes on your blog! I have been enjoying reading your blog migration posts but haven’t had time to comment. Such wonderful (and colorful) changes! I particularly like the soft tones. Thanks for being awesome! And thank you so much more so for being my blogging-role-model! I pray you enjoy today.
    -Dusty.

    1. Thanks for the sweet feedback, Dusty! I’m glad you approve! Thank YOU for your awesome comments that always brighten my days…even my nights! Thank you for your prayer as well; I did have a lovely Monday. Hope that your Tuesday is terrific, my friend!

    1. Thanks, Stephanie! Happy almost birthday to your daughter! Aw, this would be super sweet for a little girl’s room. You could even use the flowers to make her a hair accessory…or an embellishment for one of her outfits. If you use a delicate fabric, the flowers really look so dainty…it was hard to even capture that in photos.

    1. Thanks, Allison! I know, the fabric has been calling my name for some time now…it was actually a hand-me-down from my grandmother via my mother. And it almsot made its debut during Valentine’s Day, but I ran out of time…but spring is just around the corner, so I figured it was the perfect occasion.

  5. So pretty….I’ll pop on over to Or So She Says to find out how you did it! And by the way, I have been chanting all week every time I visit The Thinking Closet “Heck no, I won’t go ’til you Show me the crafts!” I’ve even trained the little ones to join in the chorus. This beautiful wreath was worth all the chanting and we shall move on to other endeavors now.

I love that you were talking to the flowers! Reminds me of this weekend when I took the baby to Jo-Ann’s. He was stuffing a bolt of fabric in his mouth and I told him “I completely understand. Mommy wants to eat the yummy fabric too!” It just looked that good 🙂

    1. Thanks for visiting me over at Or So She Says! Ha ha, and I thought I heard some chants in a strong western wind from Texas way. Now I know who started them! (Your kids have got some good pipes, let me tell ya.)

And I love the idea of eating the yummy fabrics at Jo-Ann’s. I have that feeling overwhelmingly every time I enter that store. I love that your baby indulged! Way to go!

    1. Thanks, Cindy! Now, you’ll have to help me ascertain what kind of fabric they are made from. I’m 90% sure that the white fabric is chiffon…the peach fabric, I’m thinking a silk-and-something blend? They were both super light and slippery. (Ha ha, I sound like such a sewing novice…which I am!)

    1. Thanks, Mom! I kept saying out loud while I was making those flowers, “Oh, aren’t you so cute?!” I just couldn’t get over how a few folds and some glue could really transform that fabric. Glad you liked it!
