My gifting has changed so much in the last few years that I honestly didn’t think I would get anything from your challenge but more tears…I was wrong! Not only do I love your videos, but I’m more hopeful of the Christmas season’s giving. I’ve remembered who I am as I worked through the mission statement, and my gift ideas pages are full!

Hiya, friends!  I’m Lauren, and I am a blogger at The Thinking Closet, author of Thinking Outside the Gift Box: 75 Simple & Meaningful Gift Ideas to Spark Your Creativity, and lover of all things heart-made.

Since the inception of my blog in September 2012, I have shared over 75 gift-related tutorials and garnered over 25 million pageviews. I’m on a mission to help you break down the walls that stand between you and your creativity. So, you’ll find that I place an emphasis on the process: on embracing imperfections, making messes, and laughing along the way. As Dan Eldon said, “The journey is the destination.”

In my free time, I enjoy playing board-games with my handsome husband Mark, spontaneous dance parties with my two daughters, and family bike rides. I am a proud flip-flop wearing Floridian, residing in Orlando, with roots in New York where I grew up feasting on Sal’s Pizzeria and falling in love with musical theatre. When I’m not firing up the glue gun or wielding a paint brush, I can be found directing children’s theatre…or sometimes wandering onto the stage myself.

To read more about me than you ever wanted to know, you can visit my blog’s “About” page.  Or watch me answer 31 questions in 3 minutes and 10 seconds flat.
