10 Inspiring D.I.Y. Jewelry Displays
Somedays I wish the internet never existed…and that we could go back to a simpler time when we looked up books in card catalogs and found our way using paper maps. But then I remember that if it weren’t for the internet, I would have never met my kindred spirit who lives and blogs over in Germany. She sends me real mail, necklaces made from twisted wire, and lets me ramble on her blog sometimes. Now, it’s my turn to host her in my bloggy home. Readers, meet my friend {and soon to be yours}, the incandescent Johanna!

Hello dear readers of the Thinking Closet! My name is Johanna, and I cannot even tell you how beyond excited I am to be guest-blogging for Lauren today. She has been there for me since I started my blog, providing me with invaluable advice, encouragement, and lots of laughs. I couldn’t adore her more if I tried!
When I’m not gushing about how wonderful Lauren is, I blog over at Dear Life, We Need To Talk about the things that inspire and delight me. There may or may not also be a lot of GIFs and puppies involved.
Recently, I renovated my room to reflect my silly, fun, but organization-loving personality. I own a lot of jewelry, so of course, I needed a place to put it. Since I am on a grad-student budget, I wanted to find something affordable, easy, but still unique and stylish – cue a Pinterest binge.
I found a lot of really innovative and inspiring DIY jewelry displays that I couldn’t wait to share with you today. Let’s get this party started!
10 Inspiring D.I.Y. Jewelry Displays
Doesn’t this just remind you of Alice in Wonderland? Perfect for an Unbirthday Party! And all the days in between.
I adore everything Jen makes, and this simple yet impactful display for bracelets is one of my all-time favorites. And, you know, my birthday is coming up. *wink wink*
Stripes? Check! Gold? Check! The perfect touch of glamour for any vanity.
This is so simple, and perfect for any rustic space that needs a little bit of glamour. Even sweeter is that Ashlee uses it to display necklaces she inherited from her beloved great Aunt Ellen.
Since we all know DIY Bloggers basically live in their home improvement store (don’t lie!), how simple would it be to pick up a few extra pots and make this gorgeous display? Exactly.
Sometimes, you just have to buy pretty knobs and drawer pulls, even if you don’t have a project for them, amirite? This project allows you to display that collection AND your jewelry collection…win-win!
How could you go wrong with IKEA? The answer is obviously: you can’t! This DIY shows just how stylish an IKEA toilet roll holder can be (yes you read that right!).
Just like you can never go wrong with IKEA, you combine thrift shopping, DIY, and gold, and I am all over it like white on rice. Dainty, glamorous, and thrifty? Sign me up!
If you had told me I could make something so professional-looking so easily, I would have called you a liar. After seeing this tutorial, I would consequently have had to apologize to you. Probably with flowers.
Oh hey, this is me *wink* after all that inspiration…this is the result I came up with: budget-friendly, super easy (just three steps!), but still pretty to look at. #winning

The cup tower, IKEA tower, and branch display are appealing to me…spraying the branch white or gold would be nice, but natural is especially lovely.

Lovely to meet you, too! Lauren’s readers are just the sweetest, so much fun to stop by. And I agree, I think the rustic branches would be lovely in almost any setting…even placed on the floor if you don’t have any more shelf space.
