Room Tour from the Sister of The Thinking Closet

My sister Lisbeth’s blog was a part of the inspiration for me in starting The Thinking Closet.  So, you can imagine how overjoyed I am that she is guest posting here today!  We’re doing guest post swaps, so I’m over at her blog, squeeze it into little inkdrops, sharing my Indie Christmas mix.  Feel free to stop by.  And now, let the magic begin:

Hello everyone at The Thinking Closet! I’m Lisbeth, the creator of The Thinking Closet’s sister, and I’m thrilled to be doing my first guest post ever on her blog!

Here’s a little bit about me: I’m a graduate student studying counseling at a seminary in PA. That explains the many books you’ll see below! While going to school, I’m also doing a counseling internship and teaching Zumba classes. Over at my blog, squeeze it into little inkdrops, you’ll see a collection of songs, videos, photography, quotes, and writing that bless me (a little bit of my own writing too). I hope they will bless you, beloveds!

And now…I’d like to take you on a room tour! Welcome to my room! I live in the Lismore House (we call ourselves “The Lismore Girls,” yep, like the T.V. Show) and I inherited a room with light teal walls, a creaky wooden floor, and a row of lovely windows. I took these photos on the night of our Christmas party, hence the garland and touches of pine!

This dresser was built for my mother by my great grandfather, Robert Anderson, who immigrated from Sweden!

  1. As I mentioned on Lisbeth’s blog, this truly warms my heart that you are guest blogging on each other’s sites today! Lisbeth’s cozy-graduate-student’s room exudes family history, relationships, her love of reading, her creativity, soft colors, and joy! Thanks for introducing your blogs to new folks and for the love that comes through! Sending Christmas cheer and hugs!!

    1. It was really fun to swap posts today! (I hope we can do it again.) Yes, isn’t her room so cozy? I’m looking forward to seeing it in person someday soon. And looking forward to seeing YOU in person in T minus 63 hours (countin’ ’em down).
