D.I.Y. Wrapping Paper Tutorial – Guest Posting at Sugar Bee Crafts

DIY Wrapping Paper Tutorial via The Thinking Closet

Today, I am taking part in the guest posting extravaganza over at Sugar Bee Crafts, sharing my D.I.Y. Wrapping Paper Tutorial.

(I know it may seem like I’m going guest-post-crazy, but for those who don’t know, sometimes you write guest posts several weeks before they “go live,” so let me clarify that I am not superwoman doing all of these projects in just a few days.  Such feats of crafty strength would be pretty incredible, though.)

Mandy, the beauty and brains behind Sugar Bee Crafts, was kind enough to include me in her guest posting extravaganza this holiday season.  If you’ve never been over to Sugar Bee Crafts, I recommend you stop what you’re doing and take a visit.

The tutorial I created covers 5 methods for making your very own wrapping paper.  Each method is quick, inexpensive, and eye-catching…I wouldn’t have it any other way.  I’m sure you’ll come away with some ideas for making your holiday wrapping experience a bit more fun and easy this year.

Guest Posting Extravaganza at Sugar Bee Crafts Cheers!

    1. I’m debating wrapping our gifts beforehand because of TSA requirements when it comes to travel and also because they might arrive a bit crumpled. Perhaps we could make our own wrapping paper together on Christmas Eve!

  1. These are so simple and yet so creative and pretty. I really like the bric-a-brac on the map paper. Making the Crayola markers into watercolors was genius! Will have to post this on FB!

  2. Thank you so much for sharing this posting. I love pretty packages. “Brown paper packages, tied up with strings….these are a few of my favorite things!” Enjoyed your blog, Kim @ Bluebirds and Butterflies xoxo

  3. Oh my gosh! I’ve been looking for a good way to personalize my presents this year and this is amazing! I’ll post the results in about a week!

    1. Like them? I LOVE them! Especially the weaving technique (gotta try that), and fabric wrap. So encouraging to know I’m not alone in my quest to make my own wrapping paper. Keep up the beautiful work.
