100 Followers Giveaway!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.  Check out the follow-up post here.

Today is a big day.  We have reached 100 followers here at The Thinking ClosetI can hardly believe it.  Triple digits!

Whenever I receive a message in my inbox informing me of a new follower, it truly makes my day, so you can imagine my disbelief at reaching this milestone.  I think it made my month!  {Confession: I did a happy dance in front of my computer when I spied the news.}

Thanks to each and every one of you who follow, read, and comment on my blog.  You truly inspire and encourage me to keep on keeping on.

And because of that, I want to thank you in this humble way, through a…

100 Followers Giveaway at The Thinking Closet

From me, to you!

What’s the prize?  Do you recall the DIY wallpaper coasters I whipped up last weekend?  Well, I’m gifting one winner with a set of 8 of these coasters made from Anthropologie wallpaper samples.  Here they are:

DIY Wallpaper Coasters - 100 Followers Giveaway - Via The Thinking Closet

DIY Wallpaper Coasters - 100 Followers Giveaway - Via The Thinking Closet

They’re bright, bold, and perfect for adding a dash of pizazz to your coffee table.  You could even break up the set into groupings of 4 to give as gifts this Christmas – – great for teachers or co-workers!  They have felt on the bottom to prevent scratches and are sealed with a shellac finish.  Although the supplies were relatively inexpensive, they did take many hours to create (and many layers of Mod Podge).  Coasters akin to these sell for $25 on etsy for a set of four, so I suppose you could say this is a $50 value since you’re getting eight!

I hope you all join in on the giveaway fun.  The more the merrier, so invite your friends.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

You have not one, not two, not three, but four chances to win!

You can post one comment for each of the four items below.  That’s four separate comments to increase your chances of winning!

  1. Become a follower or tell me you are and how you follow (email subscription, Linky Followers, RSS feed, Google+, or Bloglovin’).  See the sidebar for all of your options.
  2. Follow The Thinking Closet on Pinterest or tell me that you already do.
  3. Share this giveaway on your blog, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Stumble-Upon…or for the daring, through a tattoo.  Then, tell me how you shared.
  4. Leave a comment below sharing one thing you’re thankful for this year.

The giveaway will remain open for one week, until Saturday, November 24th at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. to U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older.  The winner will be chosen randomly through www.random.org, then notified by email, and will have 72 hours to respond.  After which, I’ll choose a new winner.  I am not responsible for items broken or lost in the mail, though I promise to pack them with tender lovin’ care!

Now, get to commenting, you lovelies, you.

With gratitude and lots of happy in my dance,

This is Lauren, signing off.

Congratulations on 100 followers!! And that’s in a little over two months! I will post this on my FB page! I suppose I can’t win cause I’m your mom and that could be considered a conflict of interest…but I think it’s a great gift you are giving away! I am thankful for God’s protection during Hurricane Sandy and the Nor’easter, and for the 26 boxes our church just donated for Operation Christmas Child. Sending love!!

I’m new! I stumbled onto someone else’s pin, found a comment you made there with a link to your blog and followed it around until… I am now a follower via email, and Pinterest. I’m not all that computer savvy, so this is quite a success for me really.
So, to up my chances in the big giveaway, I will share that I am so very Thankful for my husband’s job that allows us to live comfortably. (I am unable to work, so our financial security rests on his employment.)
I feel fortunate in this time of hardship for so many families. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
